BLOCROWN (the “Service”) is an online game operated by Airony Company Inc. (the “Company”, “we”). In a game city built from real-world map data, users run empty buildings as their own space (hideout), decorate them, and visit and interact with other users' spaces. These Terms set out the rights and obligations of the Company and users in relation to use of the Service.
Article 1 (Definitions)
- “Member”: a user who agreed to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and created an account by completing email verification.
- “Guest”: a user who plays only on their device without signing up. Guest records are stored only on that device.
- “Points (P)”: the only currency used in the game. There are free Points earned by playing, and paid Points that Members get by buying Point packs through the App Store or Google Play (including bonus Points attached to a pack). The screen shows a single balance; on our server we record the free, bonus and paid portions separately. Points cannot be exchanged for cash or given to other Members.
- “Operating rights”: an in-game permission to use, decorate and publish one empty building in the game as your own space. They are not real-world rights such as ownership of or a lease on a real building, and they are not permanent. Operating rights last only for the operating period set out in these Terms.
- “Space (hideout)”: a Member's space created on a building for which they hold operating rights. Rooftop decorations, featured content and the guestbook are attached to it.
- “Operating period”: the period during which operating rights last. “Grace period”: the period after the operating period ends during which the owner can still open the space again to keep it going.
- “First hideout (free home hideout)”: the one free home space each Member has. It is the destination of the free “To home hideout” return.
- “Block Meeting (반상회)”: a private group created by Members. “Regulars”: a relationship in which a Member registers another Member's space to receive its updates.
- “Open plaza (plaza tower)”: a virtual tower (plaza tower) that we put up in the game, one in the capital (or main city) of each country or region, together with the public board where Members leave posts. A plaza tower is not a real building and is not subject to operating rights (Article 8-6).
Article 2 (Posting and changing these Terms)
We post these Terms on the Service screens. When we change them, we announce the changes and the reasons through in-app notices starting 7 days before they take effect (30 days before, for changes unfavorable to Members). Members who do not agree to a change may delete their account. If you keep using the Service after the effective date, you are deemed to have agreed to the changed Terms, and we will tell you this in the notice.
Article 3 (Sign-up)
- Only people aged 14 or older can sign up. If the laws of a country set a higher age, you must be at least that age; the sign-up screen shows it.
- Sign-up is completed only after you enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your email.
- If someone signs up with another person's email or with false information, we may restrict their use.
- Only you may use your account. It cannot be transferred or sold to anyone else.
Article 3-2 (Brand accounts — where offered)
- Where we offer brand accounts, you choose either a personal account or a brand account at sign-up. A brand account is a business account for preparing a virtual brand storefront.
- A brand account must be created with a business email by a person aged 19 or older who is authorized to sign up on behalf of the brand. The account stays “pending approval” until we have verified the brand and its official domain.
- Brand accounts do not play the game, such as running spaces, earning Points or showing online presence.
- Payment, fee and refund terms for brand products are announced separately before payment and set in a separate agreement.
- If a brand account was created with false information or impersonates a brand without authority, we may suspend the brand account after telling you the reason.
Article 4 (The Service)
- The Service is a game in which you move around, run spaces, decorate, publish content, visit and interact in a game city built from real-world map data (such as OpenStreetMap). In-game positions and characters are not users' real locations.
- The countries and cities currently available are shown in the Service.
- The “climbing” feature for scaling buildings is not currently offered. Climb records and badges left from before remain as they are.
- Where “Start near me” is offered, the device's location is read once, only when the user taps it, to choose the nearest supported area and an in-game starting point. The real location (coordinates) is used only on the device; it is not sent to or stored on our server, and it is not used to decide operating rights, rewards or prices. You can use every feature even if you decline.
- Features open in stages. Features that are not yet open are marked “Coming soon” in the Service. Features described in these Terms as “(where offered)” apply only after we open them in the Service.
Article 4-2 (Virtual brand storefronts — where offered)
- A virtual brand storefront is a virtual space selected inside the game. It does not mean any right to a real building or shop, or a partnership with a real building owner or shop, and we do not guarantee visits or sales.
- “Enter” in front of a storefront building opens the brand homepage (HTTPS) approved by the operator. Logins and purchases there are a matter between the brand and the user.
- Simply viewing the homepage or returning to the game does not earn Points or rewards.
Article 5 (Points)
- Points are earned by playing (free Points) or obtained by buying Point packs (paid Points · Article 9), and are used only in the game (outfits, travel, facade ads, etc.). How to earn them, the amounts and the pack contents are shown under “Points at a glance” and on the purchase screen in the Service.
- When you spend Points, they are deducted in this order: free Points → bonus Points → paid Points. Items marked “paid Points only” (facade ads) are deducted from paid Points only.
- Points cannot be exchanged for cash or given to other Members. Free Points and bonus Points are not refundable; withdrawal and refunds of paid Points follow the Refund Policy. Points obtained by unfair means may be taken back.
- Guest Points are stored only on that device, so they may be lost if you change devices or clear storage.
- When you open a building facade ad for the first time, Points are credited once per ad per day, up to 20P per day. Points obtained through automated input or similar means are taken back.
Article 6 (Getting operating rights)
- When our server confirms that your in-game character has arrived at the entrance of an empty building, you get operating rights with “Start operating”. The operating fee is 0P, and there are no recurring charges.
- Your account's first hideout can be chosen directly on the map without travelling, one time only. After that, you must arrive at a building's entrance.
- Normal operation cannot be started on the following buildings; they can be operated only during events we announce. Buildings whose height has not been verified may also be restricted.
- Landmarks and famous sights
- Buildings taller than 150 m
- Large buildings with a footprint of 3,000 m² or more (including buildings split into sections)
- The following limits are set by our server, shown in the app, and increase step by step with your activity: the number of spaces you can run at the same time, the number you can newly start per day, the number you can run in each neighborhood, and the height of building you can run. From your second space on, every space you run must have featured content published.
- In each country, you can get operating rights for your first building without spending Points (your first hideout included). If you have run a space in that country before, that country's free building is considered used. Free acquisitions are limited to one per day across your account (based on midnight Korea time). Any other acquisition costs that building's price in Points. The price is proportional to the building's floor area and verified height, from 1,500P to 50,000P per building, and is shown on the building screen and in the confirmation window. Each Member can run up to 15 spaces per country. Spaces you already run beyond 15 are kept; you just cannot get new ones in that country. Buildings without a verified height record cannot be acquired.
- Each building is run by only one person: whoever is confirmed first. Operating rights cannot be sold to other Members or transferred in exchange for anything.
Article 7 (Operating period · grace period · release)
- The operating period of a regular spot is 30 days from when you started operating it. The figure shown in the Service applies.
- If the owner, while logged in, opens their own space directly and keeps it on screen briefly (3 seconds or more), the operating period is reset to 30 days from that moment. The time is not added to the remaining period, and it renews only once a day. The following do not count as renewal: only viewing lists, previews or notifications; another person visiting or liking the space.
- When the operating period ends, a 7-day grace period begins. Opening the space once during the grace period continues it immediately.
- If you do not open the space by the end of the grace period, your operating rights end, and 24 hours later the building reopens so that other Members can start it under the same conditions. Content from the ended space goes back to the owner's archive and props that were placed there go back to the owner's prop storage; they do not pass to the new operator.
- Notices about upcoming expiry, the start of the grace period, upcoming release and release are sent only through the in-app notification inbox and notices shown when you log in. They are not sent by email or push notification. The operating period is calculated under this Article whether or not a notice reaches you.
- Time during which you could not open your space because of a service outage does not count as absence, and we extend the period by that amount of time. Spaces with an ongoing facade ad contract are not released automatically; our operations team reviews them.
- Besides release under this Article, operating rights also end through (1) the Member's voluntary return, (2) an operational action with a recorded reason (abuse, legal request, data error), or (3) account deletion. You may object to an operational action.
- Even when operating rights end, your collection records, purchased outfits and decoration props, and Points remain.
Article 7-2 (First hideout)
- You can run your first hideout for 1 year without an operating fee.
- When the owner does any of the following, the period is reset to 1 year from that time: opening the first hideout (a visit), or posting or editing content, saving rooftop or facade decorations, or replying in the guestbook (an update).
- If there is no visit or update at all for 1 year, we tell you through an in-app notification and give you a 7-day grace period. Opening the hideout once during the grace period continues it as is; when the grace period ends, the operating rights end and the building opens to other Members 24 hours later.
- When the operating rights to your first hideout end, we keep that hideout's rooftop layout (blueprint), facade decorations, the content you had published and the space settings in your account archive. When you choose a new first hideout, you can move them all at once with “Bring over previous hideout decorations”. Anything that does not fit the building's size or category stays in the archive. No decorations from the previous owner remain on a building that passes to another Member.
- If you are running another space, you can move your free hideout there. How often you can move it is shown in the Service; currently it is once every 7 days. When you move it, the new hideout gets 1 year from that time, and the old hideout becomes a regular spot subject to Article 7.
Article 7-3 (Takeover listings)
- A space whose operating rights ended through account deletion or an operational action may be passed on through a fixed-price takeover listing instead of being released straight away as an empty building. A listing is not an auction to the highest bidder, and it stays open for at least 72 hours.
- Only Members whose arrival at that building's entrance after the listing opened has been confirmed by our server can apply. They must meet the stage and holding-limit conditions, and can apply only once per listing.
- When you apply, the acquisition fee (Points) shown on the listing is held. At closing, we re-check the conditions in application order and pass the building to the first Member who meets them; the holds of the other Members are released. The acquisition fee is not paid to the previous operator.
- The previous operator, and accounts verified with the same mobile phone number, cannot apply for the same building.
Article 8 (Content and decorations you post)
- Members can post featured content in their space and choose who can see it (Public · Block Meeting only · Only me). Featured content is photos, text, video links, etc. in the category chosen in the Service. The number of public posts and of photo and video slots is shown in the Service.
- Members may post photos and text only if they hold the rights to them (copyright, portrait rights, etc.). The member who posts photos, videos or text must check the rights to them, such as copyright and portrait rights, and that member is responsible for them. We do not check rights when content is posted, and unless we acted intentionally or with gross negligence, we are not liable for disputes arising because content posted by a member infringes another person's rights. If we receive a report of a rights infringement, we may, after checking it, make the content private or delete it. Our operations team may make private or delete content that infringes rights, or that is obscene, hateful or illegal advertising.
- Regular Members cannot post external links (web addresses). Our server filters links in titles, body text, tags, signs, guestbook entries and ad text, and older links are shown as “(link hidden)”. The following are exceptions:
- YouTube addresses in video slots: stored only as the video ID and shown in the in-game player.
- Brand addresses approved by us, and operator announcements.
- Addresses of original posts, where a feature linking original posts on other social networks is offered: used only to show the linked original post.
- Links that rooftop owners add to their own rooftop (where offered): https addresses only · when you tap one, we tell you before you go to the outside site · we do not check, and are not responsible for, the site the link leads to, and we may filter or hide addresses that are unsafe or do not comply with these Terms (impersonation, adult content, gambling, malicious code, steering payments outside the app, etc.).
- Rooftop decoration layouts and server facade decorations (where offered) are tied to the space for that operating period. Facade decorations kept on the device are stored only on that device. On someone else's building or an empty building, you can decorate only the first face, and only when you have arrived at its entrance.
- When operating rights end, content does not pass to the new owner; it moves to your archive and can be published again in another of your spaces.
- Your display name (nickname) can be changed only a set number of times. We may ask you to change a name that impersonates someone else or is offensive.
Article 8-2 (Visits · guestbook · reports · blocking)
- One-line guestbook entries and stickers are visible to other users within the visibility the space owner set. The following are not allowed and may be filtered out by our server or hidden or deleted by our operations team: links, contact details, messenger IDs and HTML; profanity and harassment; other people's personal information; advertising and spam.
- Authors can edit their own entries (up to 5 times · re-checked at each edit) or delete them. The space owner can hide or report entries from their own operating period and reply to them, but cannot edit other people's entries.
- Anyone can report content, guestbook entries and Members, and block them or hide them from their own screen. We never apply sanctions automatically based on report counts alone (when several reports pile up, the item is only folded away while it is reviewed). Our operations team checks reports, hides or deletes content or restricts use, and records the reason. Please send objections to blocrown@airony.xyz.
- The guestbook is tied to the operating period. When the operator changes, the new owner starts with a new guestbook, and the old one remains read-only for the previous owner. Visits, guestbook entries and stickers do not earn Points. Viewing a visit is a virtual visit and does not replace arriving at the entrance, which is needed to start operating.
- In the apps (iOS and Android), only entries you tap “Translate with Google” on are machine-translated on the user's device and shown in translation (where offered), with a Google attribution next to the translation. On-device translation does not send the text to be translated to us or to a translation service. Where we offer server translation, only the one entry you tapped “Translate” on is sent to a translation service. Text you post may be shown to other users translated into their language in their app when they tap “Translate with Google”. Machine translation may be inaccurate, and reports and our moderation decisions are based on the original text.
Article 8-3 (Block Meeting)
- Members who have completed email verification can create one Block Meeting or join one (up to 30 members). The Member who creates it becomes the “chair”. A Member who leaves a Block Meeting can join another one only after 24 hours.
- The chair sets the visibility: name tag display, ranking display, how to join, and who can see the member list. It starts with the most private settings. If the join method is “Approval”, only Members the chair approves can join, and join requests end automatically after 7 days.
- The chair can write an announcement of up to 200 characters. Announcements are visible only to members of the Block Meeting (on the Circle screen, in members' building windows and in in-app notifications) and follow the same writing rules as the guestbook.
- The chair can summon the Block Meeting. The chair picks one building that a member is running and a start time (within 7 days). A summon can be used once a month based on Korea time, and cancelling before it starts gives back that month's summon.
- Only members who chose “Attend” for the summon are moved to that building's entrance at the start time. There is no travel fee and no reward. After 24 hours, or when the member taps “Leave”, they return to where they were just before the summon. If the member has moved somewhere else on their own in the meantime, they are not moved back. Members who are blocked or under use restrictions, and members who have left the Block Meeting, are not moved.
Article 8-4 (Regulars · chat — where offered)
- Members can register another Member's space as a “regular spot” to receive its updates. Registering as a regular does not open private or Neighborhood-Circle-only spaces, and gives no rewards such as Points.
- Members can “subscribe” to a building as a topic channel and receive new public posts in that building in their regular-spots feed. Your subscriptions are visible only to you, and a subscription stays with the building even if its operator changes. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Public posts in spaces set to “public” can be read in the app's “World Rooftop feed” by anyone, including people who are not Members. Non-members can only read; liking, registering regulars, subscribing, posting and guestbook entries are for Members only. If you change a space to private or Neighborhood-Circle-only, it no longer appears in the feed.
- Chat is requested with a nearby Member in the same in-game city and opens only when the other person accepts. Chat messages are visible only to the two people; our operations team checks only copies of reported messages. Members can end a chat, or block or report the other person, at any time.
- In chat you must not use profanity, harass, send sexual content, commit fraud, advertise, ask for personal information or try to move the conversation to outside contact, and you cannot send links or contact details. We may check reported messages and restrict use.
Article 8-5 (Facade ad orders)
- Facade ads are a paid service that places an ad photo on a building wall in the game. Only Members with a Republic of Korea account who are aged 19 or older and authorized to make the payment can order them. In-game ads are not ads on, or rights to, real buildings, and we do not guarantee ad results.
- Our server calculates the price and shows it on the order screen including value-added tax (10%). In the app, orders are paid only with paid Points bought through store payments (1P is about KRW 1 (varies by pack) · free and bonus Points cannot be used). Businesses that need a tax invoice order through a separate route that we provide. The ad is posted after we confirm payment and our operations team reviews the ad photo; if a video is attached, we watch the video in full. Ad videos are 30 seconds or shorter and loop without sound. If a video does not meet our standards, we may approve the photo only, at the same price.
- Withdrawal: for an order paid with paid Points, within 7 days from the day you paid and before posting starts, you can request cancellation under “Facade ads · My orders” and get back all the paid Points you spent.
- Rejection and stopping: if an ad does not comply with the law or these Terms, or cannot be posted because the operating rights to that wall ended before posting, we reject the order and return all the paid Points spent. If an ad is stopped after posting starts, we return paid Points for the remaining period, calculated by day.
- When an ad ends, 30% of the ad price minus VAT and payment fees is credited as free in-game Points (1P is about KRW 1 (varies by pack)) to the Member who ran the space on that wall during the posting period. These Points cannot be converted to cash or withdrawn, and are not refundable.
Article 8-6 (Open plazas — where offered)
- An open plaza is a virtual tower that we put up in the game, one in the capital (or main city) of each country or region. It is not a real building and is not any Member's space; no one can obtain operating rights to it, decorate it, climb it or put ads on it. Plaza posts, replies and hearts do not earn Points or rewards.
- Members can leave posts and replies and tap hearts in any plaza, wherever they are in the game (no travel needed). People who are not Members (including Guests) can only read plaza posts. Limits such as post length, the number of photos and how many posts you can leave per day are set by our server and shown in the Service. Authors can delete their own plaza posts and replies (they cannot edit them), turn off replies for each post, and hide replies on their own posts.
- Each plaza has one topic (category) set by us, which Members cannot change. Once a plaza has opened, we do not change its topic. We may pick one plaza as “This week's plaza” and feature it.
- Article 8(2) (responsibility for rights) and Article 8-2(1) and (3) (what you cannot post · reports · blocking) also apply to plaza posts. No links of any kind can be posted in plazas, without the exceptions in Article 8(3). In addition, you cannot post text or photos that demean a particular country or ethnic group, or that desecrate a flag or other symbol of a country or region. Because plazas have no owner, our operations team reviews reports and posts, hides or deletes content or restricts use, and records the reason.
- A plaza tower and the flag on top (a national flag, a regional flag or the BLOCROWN plaza flag) only show which country or region the plaza is for. We and the plazas are not affiliated with, approved by or sponsored by the government or any body of that country or region. Plaza posts are the views of the Members who wrote them, not those of the Company or of that country or its government. Plaza names and flags are in-game labels and do not represent our position on the status or borders of any country or region.
- Where needed for operations, such as disputes, safety or legal reasons, we may pause a plaza for a while (during which it can only be read) or close it, and we may change or remove the flag shown. Posts in a closed plaza are no longer shown.
- We may send Members “This week's plaza” notices (once a week by default) and updates about replies to their plaza posts through the in-app notification inbox. Members can reduce the notices to once every 2 weeks or turn them off in settings. Plaza notifications are not sent by email or device notification (push).
Article 9 (Paid Points and paid items — where offered)
- In-app paid purchases are not currently open. If we offer paid purchases, the following applies. For each item we show the price, period and effect on the purchase screen, and show a confirmation dialog before purchase.
- Only Members can buy paid Points, through App Store or Google Play billing, and payments follow each store's terms. For each pack, the purchase screen shows the payment amount and the Points and bonus you receive, and the value of 1 paid Point is that payment amount divided by the paid Points received with that payment (excluding bonus Points). If the first payment on an account is the KRW 1,100 pack, that one purchase gives three times the base Points (the extra is bonus Points); if that payment is refunded, the benefit is taken back as well and cannot be received again. Points are recorded on your server account; they cannot be given to other Members and cannot be exchanged for cash. Paid Points and the bonus Points received with that payment are valid for 5 years from the purchase date, and bonus Points are not refundable.
- Paid items provide only appearance, convenience or time savings; we do not sell priority in operating-rights decisions or stats. We do not sell items whose results are decided by chance (loot boxes). Time-limited items do not renew automatically.
- Where paid operating rights (premium operating rights) are offered, we present the eligible buildings, period, price (in Points) and end conditions as separate terms on the purchase screen, and sell them only after you agree to those terms.
- Withdrawals and refunds follow the Refund Policy. Points (including bonus Points) given for a payment that a store refunds are taken back; if you have already spent them and your balance falls below zero, what you already bought stays with you, but you cannot spend Points until your balance is zero or more.
Article 10 (Payments by minors)
If a Member under 19 made a payment without the consent of their legal guardian, the Member or the legal guardian can cancel that payment (Korean Civil Act, Article 5). We recommend using the stores' family sharing and purchase approval features. Cancellation requests are accepted at blocrown@airony.xyz.
Article 11 (Prohibited conduct)
- Playing by unfair means such as automated input programs, modified apps, or manipulating location or records
- Using another Member's account, or buying or selling accounts, currency or operating rights
- Harassing other users, asking for personal information or outside contact details, or luring them into outside contact
- Attacking the servers or disrupting the Service with excessive requests
- Violating the law or these Terms
Depending on how serious the violation is, we may issue a warning, a temporary suspension or a permanent suspension, take back illegitimately obtained currency or take back operating rights, and we will tell you the reason. Members may object. Operating rights are kept during a suspension; only your name is hidden.
Article 12 (Changes to and suspension of the Service)
We may change the Service or carry out maintenance as needed for operational or technical reasons, and we will announce this in advance. If we end the Service, we will announce it 30 days in advance and refund remaining paid Points (excluding bonus Points) under the Refund Policy.
Article 13 (Account deletion and data)
- Members can delete their account at any time under My account → Manage account. If there is an ongoing or paid ad contract, it must be settled first.
- When you delete your account, we handle things as follows.
- Spaces you were running go to an takeover listing under Article 7-3.
- Content, decorations, Block Meeting records and external account connections are deleted.
- Chats are deleted entirely for both people, including the other person's messages.
- The text of guestbook entries you left is deleted and shown as “Former explorer”, and the entries are deleted after 30 days.
- The text of plaza posts and replies you left is deleted so they are no longer shown, and the records are deleted after 30 days. Hearts you tapped are also deleted.
- Remaining Points and paid items are lost. If you need a refund of unused paid Points, please request it before deleting your account.
- Records we must keep by law, such as payment records, are kept for the periods stated in the Privacy Policy. Before deleting your account, you can download your records with “Export server account data”.
Article 14 (Limitation of liability)
We are not liable for damage caused by natural disasters, the user's own fault, or outages of third-party services such as telecommunications, hosting or app stores, unless we acted intentionally or with gross negligence. Except where the law provides otherwise, we are not liable for the loss of Points, operating rights or features provided free of charge.
Article 15 (Dispute resolution · language)
For any dispute, please contact blocrown@airony.xyz first. If it is not resolved, you can apply for mediation to a body such as the Content Dispute Resolution Committee (콘텐츠분쟁조정위원회). These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and lawsuits are filed with the court that has jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act. The English and Japanese translations are provided to help you understand these Terms. If a translation and the Korean original differ, whichever is more favorable to the user applies.
Addenda
- These Terms take effect on October 13, 2026.
- The part of Article 7(4) and Article 7-2(3) stating that “operating rights end when the grace period ends” is a change unfavorable to Members, so it applies from November 5, 2026. Before then, operating rights do not end when the grace period ends; we only send a notice.
- Article 8-4(2) (channel subscriptions) and (3) (World rooftop feed) apply from October 13, 2026, seven days after this change was announced (October 6, 2026).
- Article 6(5) (first building free in each country, one free per day, up to 15 per country, 1,500P–50,000P per building) may be unfavorable to Members, so it applies from November 8, 2026, 30 days after this change was announced (October 8, 2026). Until then, you can get one building per day in each country without spending Points (not available in a country where you already run 30 or more spaces), and paid extra acquisitions are not accepted. Spaces obtained before November 8, 2026 are not taken back even if they exceed 15.
- The protection period, upkeep fee, unpaid fee and autopay provisions of the previous Terms (2026-09-28.4) are abolished when these Terms take effect. No upkeep fees are charged for spaces under the operating-period policy, and existing bills and payment records are kept as records only.
- For Members who already had a first hideout before these Terms took effect, the operating period is 1 year from their last visit or update. However, it will not be shorter than the period already guaranteed to them at that time.
- The 2026-10-12.5 amendment (Credits merged into Points · Articles 1, 4-2, 5, 7, 8-2, 8-4, 8-5, 9, 12 and 13) was announced to apply from October 17, 2026, seven days after this change was announced (October 10, 2026), but it applies from the effective date of the 2026-10-12.8 amendment.
- (Conversion of Credits into Points) Credits (C) obtained before this amendment are converted at 10 Points per 1C and moved to paid Points. Converted Points are valid for 5 years from the conversion date, and your balance does not decrease in the process. If a store refund had made your Credit balance negative, it is moved as negative Points at the same rate (1C = 10P), and what you already bought stays with you. Outfits and passes already bought with Credits remain. If a payment for Credits is refunded by a store after conversion, the converted Points are taken back.
